Only the top flat comes in cups so that you can drop in the refills stacked below when your tea light runs out.
Our wicks are 100% cotton, and our tea lights are all 100% Beeswax, which we source right here in the clean Arizona desert.
Most tea lights have wicks that are pre-dipped in paraffin wax and/ or metal cored, but we dip our own wicks right here in our studio ( in beeswax ) and crimp the tabs start to finish, nothing more pure than that
Packing - We use recycled packing materials as much as possible!
Tea lights burn for around four hours, and we suggest burning your tea light all in one session or in two, 2-hour sessions. Due to their shallow depth, tea lights won't relight if you blow them out with less than 1/2 the wax still in the cup.

Burning Note: The thicker the candle, the longer burn sessions it requires. I recommend burning XL candles for no less than 3 hours at a time and upwards of 5, 6, + hours. The reason for this is that the heat of the flame needs time to melt away the walls and feed the wax pool, so give it time to get the greatest value.
You can also “kneed” or press the warm lip of the candle inwards to get the walls to melt in faster and more efficiently.
Trimming the tip of the wick before each new burn is also beneficial. You can use scissors or nip the brittle end of the cold candle wick with your thumb nail. This eliminates any accumulation of carbon, burnt honey, pollen or propolis from the fabric and allows for a healthy flame and good flow of wax.Tea Light Refill Start kit!!

We'll send you a box set of 96 tea lights .. which includes 80 refills and the top layer has 16 tea lights still in their metal cups. When you are done burning your tea light, simply pop out the wick tab, insert a refill, and voila, you have another tea light!
**(If you already have your old tea light cups at home ready to bee recycled, just let us know if you only want refills.)
